The number of donkeys in the country has increased by 109,000 in just one year, raising the total from 5.938 million to 6.047 million.
The document also reveals significant increases in other livestock categories over the same period:
Buffaloes: Increased by 1.378 million, bringing the total from 46.31 million to 47.688 million.
Sheep: Increased by 388,000, raising the number from 32.731 million to 33.119 million.
Goats: Saw a notable rise of 2.358 million, from 87.035 million to 89.393 million.
Camels: Increased by 14,000, from 1.163 million to 1.177 million.
Horses: Rose by 1,000, bringing the total to 383,000.
Mules: Increased by 3,000, now totaling 227,000.
In total, the livestock population in Pakistan grew by 2.171 million in one year, bringing the cumulative number from 57.540 million to 59.711 million.
