ISLAMABAD: At least 70 more people have died in Pakistan due to the global epidemic coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to the virus across the country has risen to 24,783.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,239 coronavirus cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases across the country has risen to 1,116,886. According to the NCOC, 51,982 the virus tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours, the rate of coronavirus positive cases was 6.23%. It should be noted that Punjab and Sindh provinces were most affected by the coronavirus. In Punjab, 376,252 cases and 11,455 deaths were reported, while in Sindh, 416,230 people were affected and 6,529 died from the virus.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 154,606 people were affected and 4,714 died from corona, while 31,726 cases and 335 deaths were reported in Balochistan. In Islamabad, 95,196 people were affected by the virus while 839 died.
