ISLAMABAD: The National Institute of Health (NIH) has reported that Pakistan recorded another Covid-19 fatality during the last 24 hours, while dozens more were infected with the virus.
According to the NIH data released on Saturday morning, the death toll in the country rose to 30,655 after one more person succumbed to the disease. Meanwhile, the total number of infections surged to 1,580,394 after adding 67 new cases.
The NIH data also revealed that 5,478 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan during the last 24 hours, with a positivity ratio of 1.22%. Additionally, the number of patients in critical care remained at 15.
