ISLAMABAD: At least 270 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 10 more people have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,280,362 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,628 people lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 32,000 tests were performed to diagnose COVID-19, bringing the total number of tests to 2,14,84,466. Across the country, the coronavirus test result was 0.84 percent, while the number of critical cases was 1,085.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 179,276 people fell victim to corona while 5,805 died. In Balochistan, 33,422 cases of the virus and 358 deaths due to coronavirus were reported.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,517 people were infected with corona and 741 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,403 cases were reported and 186 people lost their lives. In Islamabad, 1,7,383 cases and 949 deaths were reported.
