ISLAMABAD: At least 291 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country while 3 more people have died due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,294,031 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,912 people lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 41,869 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 23,234,148. Across the country, the corona test result was 0.69 percent, while the condition of 636 patients was critical.
During the last 24 hours, 229 people defeated coronavirus across the country, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,255,204. The death toll remains at 2.2 percent.

The highest number of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 444,670 people fell victim to the virus while 13,066 died. In Sindh, 480,901 cases of coronavirus and 7,663 deaths were reported.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 181,247 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,922 died. In Balochistan, 33,625 cases of the virus were reported and 363 people lost their lives.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,657 people were infected with coronavirus and 746 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,429 cases and 186 deaths were reported. In Islamabad, 18,502 people were infected with coronavirus and 966 died.
