ISLAMABAD: The outbreak of coronavirus in Pakistan has broken out, with 622 more cases of the epidemic reported in the country and 16 people have died.
According to statistics released by the National Command and Operations Center, 16 more deaths and 622 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

According to the NCOC data, the total number of deaths has risen to 28,328 after an increase of 16 deaths, while the total number of victims has now risen to 126,826 with the addition of 622 new cases.
During the last 24 hours, a total of 44,334 tests were conducted across Pakistan while the proportion of positive cases stood at 1.69 percent. However, the condition of 1690 patients in the country is still critical and according to official statistics, 1112 patients have recovered from the virus.

So far 466750 cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 438433 in Punjab, 177132 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106571 in Islamabad, 33149 in Balochistan, 34417 in Azad Kashmir and 10374 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
So far 12,876 people have lost their lives in Punjab, 7,536 in Sindh, 5,698 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 938 in Islamabad, 740 in Azad Kashmir, 354 in Balochistan and 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
