ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has witnessed a significant decrease in COVID-19 cases as the country reported only 11 new infections and no deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the National Institute of Health (NIH).
The data was released on Tuesday, revealing that the death toll remains at 30,656, and the total number of infections has now reached 1,580,767, after adding the fresh 11 cases.

It’s worth noting that just two years ago in 2021, Pakistan reported a record number of COVID-19 deaths, which led to the government sending troops to enforce coronavirus precautions. However, the vaccination efforts in Pakistan are progressing significantly with millions of vaccine doses administered so far.
