RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the Pakistan Navy under the leadership of the new Naval Chief will cross new dimensions of success.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa was received by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi, and professional matters were discussed during the meeting.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa congratulated Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi on assuming command of the Pakistan Navy. General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that he hoped that the Pakistan Navy under the leadership of the new Naval Chief would cross new dimensions of success.
Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi laid a wreath at the memorial of martyrs at GHQ and also offered Fateha. It may be recalled that last week Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi took command of the Pakistan Navy. He is the 22nd Chief of the Pakistan Navy. He was commissioned in 1985 in the Operations Branch of the Pakistan Navy.

He received an honourary sword from the Pakistan Naval Academy on commissioning and has extensive experience working in various command and staff positions.
The new Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Navy has served in the Pakistan Navy War College Lahore and is currently serving as the Chief of Staff (Operations). He is a graduate of Army Command and Staff College Quetta, National Defense University Islamabad, and Beijing University China.
