The Government of Pakistan has issued a travel advisory for Pakistani citizens regarding Iran, as reported by national media.
According to a statement issued by the Federal Ministry of Interior on Saturday, in light of Israeli attacks, Pakistani citizens are advised not to travel to Iran. The Ministry of Interior stated that the Government of Pakistan is closely monitoring the situation for the safety and security of its citizens.
According to the Ministry, necessary measures and arrangements are underway for the safe repatriation of Pakistanis currently in Iran.
It is worth noting that the Israeli military launched heavy attacks on Iran yesterday, resulting in the martyrdom of over 80 people, including 9 scientists and members of the military leadership.
In response, Iran launched retaliatory attacks, raining ballistic missiles on Israel. Iran fired more than 200 missiles, resulting in the death of 4 Israelis and injuries to over 90 others.
Social media users made various comments regarding Iran’s attack on Israel. When Israel attacked Iran and martyred members of its military leadership, it also triggered a strong reaction on social media.
There is global concern over Israel’s attack on Iran and Iran’s retaliatory strikes. The international community is advising both sides to exercise restraint.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan, along with several other Islamic countries, has openly condemned the Israeli attacks and termed them blatant aggression against Iran.
