It is worth mentioning that Israel had reportedly devised a plan in the 1980s to target Pakistan’s nuclear facilities. However, the operation did not proceed after India withdrew its support. Subsequently, Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi signed a bilateral no-strike agreement with Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, under which both nations pledged to refrain from attacking each other’s nuclear installations.
In the latest developments, Iranian missile strikes have caused extensive damage at four locations in central and southern Israel, including an attack on Soroka Medical Center. In response, Israeli forces have reportedly launched strikes on Iran’s Arak heavy water nuclear facility.
