ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has felicitated President Xi Jinping of China on his re-election to the office for the third consecutive term.
President Xi Jinping was elected as general secretary of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the committee’s first plenary session held on Sunday, according to a communique officially made available for media.
Soon after his re-election, Pakistan’s top leadership started extending heartiest felicitations to President Xi Jinping.
President Arif Alvi, while congratulating President Xi Jinping on his re-election as CPC General Secretary, said he is a true friend of Pakistan and champion of all-weather strategic cooperative partnership of two countries.
