Pakistan has apprehended another Indian spy, following the high-profile arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav. The newly detained operative was reportedly operating out of Iran.
Former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry revealed in a televised interview that a second Indian spy, identified as Chakraverti, has been arrested by Pakistani authorities.
Chaudhry stated that the arrested individual had entered Pakistan from Iran and was engaged in business activities there.
He further disclosed that Chakraverti was captured near the Iranian border in Balochistan.
The former diplomat emphasized that India continues to use the territories of Iran and Afghanistan for hostile activities against Pakistan.
He urged that Pakistan must engage in diplomatic discussions with Iran to prevent the use of its soil for such operations in the future.
