The Pakistan Army Promotion Board has elevated 22 brigadiers to the rank of major general.
This decision was made during a meeting held at the General Headquarters, chaired by Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir.
Among those promoted, nine brigadiers belong to various corps, including the Armed Corps, Artillery, Air Defence, Aviation, Corps of Military Intelligence, and EME. The remaining 13 brigadiers are from the Infantry.
Promoted brigadiers include Adnan Sultan, Usman Kiyani, Imran Sartaj, Yahya Usman, Usman Iqbal, Jolian, Saeed Anwar, Arfan Ramay, and Attiq.
From the Infantry, those promoted are Mehr Omer, Imtiaz Gillani, Ahmed Jawad, Tajdeed, Bilal Sarfraz, Khurram Shabbir, Faisal Saud, Abid Mazhar, Shehryar Muneer, Shehryar Qureshi, Adil Iftikhar, Amjad Aziz, and Zulfikar Shaheen.
