MULTAN: England’s Mark Wood got the final wicket as Pakistan bowled out for 202 inside first session in Multan on the second day of second test here on Saturday. Pakistan lost eight wickets in the morning session of day two and could only score 60 runs.
Pakistan’s batting approach, whatever the format, is timid and outdated. They allow the opponents to dominate them. #PakvEng

Pakistan resumed their first innings at 107-2 but some poor shot selection and good bowling by the England team ensured that the visitors were on top at lunch on day two of the second Test against Pakistan.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who was cleaned up by Ollie Robinson, scored 75 runs in 95 balls with the help of 10 fours and a six.
Pakistan’s innings never recovered after the 91-run stand for the third wicket between Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel was broken by Robinson.
Faheem Ashraf scored 22 runs in 31 balls and was the last Pakistan batter to be dismissed.
Leach was the pick of the bowlers for England, claiming figures of 4-98. Mark Wood and Joe Root claimed two wickets each. Meanwhile, Saud Shakeel became Jack Leach’s 100th Test wicket after scoring 63 runs.
Experts say England will look to set an imposing fourth-innings target when they bat again this afternoon.
