The schedule of the proposed T20 series between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been changed. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent the changed schedule to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for approval.
According to sources, the new schedule will be officially announced after the approval of the Bangladesh Board.
Under the previous schedule, the visiting team was supposed to arrive in Pakistan on May 21, but now Bangladesh is expected to arrive on May 23.
On the other hand, Bangladesh has decided to play three T20 matches against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) instead of the two, which has affected the schedule of the series.
Under the proposed changed schedule, three T20 matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played on June 1, 3, and 5 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
It may be recalled that, according to the initial plan, two matches of the five-match series were scheduled in Faisalabad and three matches in Lahore; however, now the shortened series will be held in Lahore.
PCB officials say the change in the schedule has been made through mutual consultation, and the final announcement will be made after approval from the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
