Sources have reported that the Pakistan Army has destroyed the battalion headquarters of the Indian Army’s 6 Mahar Unit, located across the Line of Control (LoC) in Indian-occupied Kashmir, opposite the Leepa Valley. The attack reportedly resulted in multiple Indian soldiers being killed.
According to reports, the Pakistan Army responded effectively and forcefully to Indian aggression in the area.
Sources added that Pakistan is continuing to give a strong and proportionate response to India’s unprovoked actions along the LoC. The military is fully alert and defending against any cross-border violations or incursions.
Pakistan military spokesperson said at least eight civilians were killed in India’s pre-dawn airstrikes. Pakistan’s prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, accused India of an “act of war”.
Meanwhile, the Indian army has said that three Indian civilians have been killed following military action by Pakistani troops in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan Army also shot down five Indian jets following the Indian airstrike in different places of Punjab and Azad Kashmir.
The Indian government has confirmed that three Indian fighter jets crashed on Wednesday in home territory. Two airplanes crashed in occupied Kashmir, and another in India’s Punjab state, the source said. It was not immediately clear what had happened to the pilots.
