Overseas Pakistanis call Ishaq Dar ‘thief’ upon his arrival in US

WASHINGTON: Finance minister Ishaq Dar recently faced humiliation as overseas Pakistanis called him a ‘thief’ upon his arrival at the US airport.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has left for the US today (Tuesday) to attend the annual meetings of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Dar took off for a four-day visit to the US on a commercial airline flight to hold meetings with the officials of the IMF and World Bank.

He was accompanied by the State Bank governor, the finance secretary, and other ministers. Upon his arrival, many people gathered at the airport and called him out with words such as ‘thief’. Let’s have a look at his viral video which is making rounds on social media:
