ISLAMABAD: The water level in the Chenab river has increased, due to the water released by India in the rivers.
Water entered more than 50,000 houses in Nakli Gopang, a settlement of Tehsil Alipur adjacent to the Chenab river belt, while crops standing on hundreds of hectares were destroyed.
On the other hand, the situation of flood in the Sutlej River in Jalalpur Parwala is also maintained.

As a result of the flood situation in the river Sutlej, water has accumulated in more than 13 government schools in the vicinity.
It should be noted that due to the water released to India, the level of the Sutlej and Chenab rivers has increased, due to which the flood disasters continue.
Earlier, thousands of acres of crops were destroyed in Pakpattan due to the high-level flood at Head Islam, while the flood water entered more than 113 villages.
