WASHINGTON: The total number of coronavirus cases in the world has exceeded 60,105,740 million. The virus has been confirmed in more than 543,000 people in the last 24 hours.
The coronavirus has killed more than 1.4 million people worldwide. The total number of deaths from coronavirus worldwide has risen to 1,414,868 million.
The first 200,000 deaths occurred in 104 days, while the last 200,000 deaths occurred in just 24 days. The situation in coronavirus is the most alarming in the United States, with 265,891 deaths and more than 129,555,000 cases reported.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 134,743 deaths and more than 92,222,000 people diagnosed with the virus.
The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 170,179 and more than 6,121,449 people are affected.
In France, more than 2,153,000 people were affected and 50,237 lost their lives. In Russia, more than 2,138,828 million people have been infected with the coronavirus and the total number of deaths is 37,031.

More than 1,614,126 million people have been affected in Spain, while 43,668 have died. There have been 1,538,794 million coronavirus cases and 55,838 deaths reported in the UK.
The first death from coronavirus was reported on 11th January in China. On 9th April, the total death toll rose to 100,000. The first 100,000 deaths were reported in 89 days. On 5th June, the death toll crossed 400,000. On 20th August, the death toll rose to 800,000.
The first case of coronavirus was registered on 17th November 2019. On 21st May 2020, the number of cases reached 5 million. On 27th June, the cases crossed the 10 million mark.
On 9th August, there were 20 million coronavirus cases worldwide. On 16th September, coronavirus crossed the 30 million mark.
On 17th October, the number of cases exceeded 40 million. On 7th November, the cases crossed the 50 million mark. On 25th November, the number of cases reached 60 million.
