Our world needs more people like Abdul Sattar Edhi: Samina Peerzada

Veteran actress Samina Peerzada has expressed sorrow by remembering Abdul Sattar Edhi and wished if he was still alive in this pandemic situation.

While remembering Abdul Sattar Edhi, a famous social activist, the actress took to Twitter and wrote that this world is in dire need of good people like Abdul Sattar Edhi,” Samina Peerzada tweeted.

“I miss Abdul Sattar Edhi very much,” the senior actress said emotionally. She said, ‘Oh! Today Mr. Edhi would be alive to serve humanity.

The Edhi Foundation has offered a help to India in view of the worrisome situation of coronavirus in India and the lack of medical equipment and facilities in hospitals. Pakistan has offered to provide 50 ambulances to Corona patients in India in a spirit of goodwill at a difficult time for India.

Abdul Sattar Edhi died on 8th July 2016 due to illness as he was suffering from kidney disease. Moreover, host Farah Saadia believes that Edhi was the real recipient of the Nobel Prize. She said that Edhi Sahib used to say that my religion is humanity, and religious circles used to criticize him for this.

Recalling Edhi’s interview, she said, “In the interview with me, he made it clear that he only saves human beings. He doesn’t care about his religion, province or language.” Farah Sadia said that he deserves Nobel Prize.
