LAHORE: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that the opposition should do whatever it wants within the ambit of the law.
In a video statement, Asad Umar said that we have a democratic party and the fort of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is strong. “The government is working to improve the lives of the people, while the opposition will do whatever it wants because our policy is to abide by the law,” he said.
Umar said that it should not be the case to break the law in the name of democracy. Earlier, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Asad Umar had met a delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P).
Asad Umar briefed to the leaders of the coalition parties regarding the Karachi Transformation Plan and other development projects of the federal government. They also discussed the financial package and other projects related to cleanliness, transport, and water supply in Karachi.

Governor Imran Ismail said that Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan. He said the federal government is taking special measures for the development of the city under the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said that the financial package announced for Karachi is part of the prime minister’s vision. He said everyone has a responsibility in the development of the prosperity of Karachi.
