Pakistan and India, India named its missile and air strike campaign against Pakistan “Operation Sindoor.” However, not only did the campaign fail miserably, but India also had to face public embarrassment and retreat. Pakistan’s timely and strong retaliatory action forced the Indian forces to wave a white flag along the Line of Control (LoC), effectively admitting defeat.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, in an emergency briefing from the control room on Wednesday morning, announced that Pakistan had given a forceful and proportionate response to India’s cowardly aggression.
The Pakistan Air Force shot down five Indian aircraft, including Rafale, Sukhoi, and a drone. Several Indian military posts along the LoC were also destroyed. According to the federal minister, a white flag was raised at several locations by India, including the Chura Complex, which is clear evidence of the enemy’s defeat and withdrawal.
Even Indian media broadcast images of the destroyed aircraft, revealing the reality to the Indian public. Attaullah Tarar further stated that India targeted civilian areas, mosques, and seminaries under the cover of night, whereas Pakistan, respecting international law, targeted only military installations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif remained in contact with military leadership throughout the night, receiving updates minute by minute. A meeting of the National Security Committee has been convened at 10 AM on Wednesday morning to determine future diplomatic and defense measures.
China expressed deep concern over the Indian attack, calling it “regrettable.” The Chinese Foreign Ministry urged both sides to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue, stating that peace should be given a chance in South Asia. Pakistan called China’s stance timely and responsible.
The Information Minister rejected Indian claims, particularly regarding the Pahalgam incident, calling them false and said India failed to present a single piece of evidence. Now, India’s false narrative has been exposed globally.
