An online bike rider was shot dead near Qayyumabad C Area, Karachi. The victim, identified as Shahid, hailed from Ghotki.
According to police, the incident occurred near the furniture market, where unknown assailants opened fire, killing the rider on the spot. At the time of the attack, a passenger named Waqas was seated behind him.
Initial reports suggest that three unidentified individuals attempted to stop the rider, but he sped away, prompting the attackers to fire from behind.
Police suspect the incident might be linked to personal enmity, as the victim’s mobile phone and other belongings were found intact.
Shahid was working for an online bike service and was taking a passenger to Korangi when the attack happened.
