PESHAWAR: Security forces have killed a terrorist during an operation in Spinwam district of North Waziristan and arms and ammunition were recovered.
According to ISPR, security forces conducted an operation in the Spinwam district of North Waziristan on the information of the presence of terrorists. One terrorist was killed in the exchange of fire while a large number of arms and bullets were recovered.
The terrorist was involved in operations against the security forces, the local population appreciated the operation of the forces and expressed full cooperation to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the area.

It may be recalled that the security forces conducted an operation in the Data Khel area of North Waziristan on the basis of intelligence information. During the operation, the security forces recovered a large number of arms, ammunition, and pellet.
The ISPR said security forces acted on the IBO’s report of a stockpile of weapons and ammunition in the area. The weapons and ammunition recovered during the search included sub-machine guns, light machine guns. Rocket-propelled grenades, hundreds of rockets, grenades, and ammunition were also recovered.
