In Hujra Shah Muqeem, Okara district, an accused raped a mother of three children, prompting the police to take action, as reported by national media.
The Punjab police stated that the woman was allegedly subjected to sexual assault, and the incident occurred near the Atari Road in Hujra Shah Muqeem, about which the police received information on 15.
The police said that upon receiving the information, they acted promptly. The accused, Khalid Rehmani, has been arrested, and a case has been registered against him on behalf of the affected woman’s husband. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
It is noteworthy that earlier on Tuesday, in Punjab, at Sangla Hill, the accused allegedly gang-raped a minor girl, who was transferred to the hospital in critical condition. A case regarding the incident was registered on behalf of the affected girl’s father.
According to Sangla Hill police, the case’s text states that the accused lured the girl away. Following the identification of the arrested accused, the search for two other named accused in the case is ongoing. Legal action will be taken against the accused.
