KARACHI: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has taken notice of the illegal sale of petroleum products.
Spokesperson Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority directed the OGRA enforcement team to check the quality and prices of petroleum products.
Spokesperson Ogra said that 40 illegal dhaba stations selling petroleum products were sealed. According to the spokesperson of OGRA, action was taken against the sellers of illegal petroleum products in Sargodha, Sadiqabad, Multan, and Bhakkar.

On the other hand, Nepra rejected the federal government’s request to increase the price of electricity. The request for an increase in electricity prices was made by the government in the interest of adjustment, and NEPRA issued a decision on the request of the federal government.
According to the decision, Nepra has given decisions related to electricity prices in terms of quarterly adjustment, the current request of the federal government regarding the increase in electricity prices is not appropriate, there are ambiguities in the request of the federal government.
