The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a subsidiary of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, has launched a paid internship program for fresh graduates and postgraduates, offering a maximum monthly stipend of Rs. 70,000.
The initiative is designed to provide young professionals with practical experience and relevant skills to enhance their career prospects.
The internship positions are based in Islamabad and will initially run for two years, subject to performance and program objectives. The program is open to both male and female applicants under the age of 30 as of the application deadline.
Opportunities are available in various fields, including IT/Computer Science, Finance and Audit, Marketing and Research, and Human Resource Management. Applicants should possess relevant technical skills such as MERN Stack and Python for IT roles, budgeting and audit tools for finance, and data analysis and content development for marketing.
Eligibility requires a degree from an HEC-recognized institution completed within the last two years, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or 70% marks. The stipend varies according to educational qualification: Rs. 50,000 for 14 years of education, Rs. 60,000 for 16 years, and Rs. 70,000 for 18 years.
Applicants must provide their laptops and transportation and are expected to commit full-time. Original documents are required during the interview process, and no TA/DA will be provided. Misrepresentation of information can lead to disqualification.
