ISLAMABAD: The forensic report of Noor Mukadam has revealed that she was sexually abused by Zahir Jaffar before being brutally murdered.
Noor Mukadam, daughter of a former ambassador, was brutally murdered on July 20, by her alleged friend Zahir Jaffar in Islamabad. The report prepared by the Punjab Forensic Agency has reportedly revealed that Noor Mukadam was raped and tortured by Zahir Jaffer before being murdered.
The agency confirmed that Jaffer’s fingerprints were present on the murder weapon and the CCTV footage obtained from his house showed both him and Noor Mukadam.
The report said that the postmortem examination of the victim was conducted 12 hours after her murder. The agency has submitted its report to the Islamabad police. The man and woman spotted in the CCTV footage are Zahir Jaffar and Noor Mukadam revealed a forensic report.
Meanwhile, all the suspects named in the Noor case have been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) and will be barred from travelling abroad. Zahir Jaffer his parents, Zakir Jaffer and Asmat, and three domestic workers had been placed on the ECL, stated Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed.
A sub-committee of the cabinet headed by Law Minister Farogh Naseen approved placing the accused on the no-fly list. The interior minister had said that earlier the names of the prime suspect Zahir Jaffer and other accused were included in the blacklist but now they had also been placed on the ECL.
Noor Mukadam, daughter of former ambassador Shaukat Mukadam, was killed by Zahir Jaffer at his home in Islamabad on the evening of July 20. Police had arrested the main accused, Zahir Jaffar, at the crime scene, while his parents were arrested on July 25.
On Aug 5, the district and sessions court in Islamabad had dismissed the bail plea of parents of prime suspect in Zahir Jaffer after which he was sent to prison.
