Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that there is not much difference between what happened on May 9 and what India has done.
While addressing students in Sargodha, Maryam Nawaz said that just like laptops are kept safe to prevent viruses, the mind should also be protected from any “political virus.”
Criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Chief Minister stated that there is not much difference between what happened on May 9 and what India has done. One may have differences with a person, but on May 9, military installations were set on fire. Their target was also our military installations. This party did what the enemy could not do in decades.
She stated that what a party did on May 9, and some people were misled into doing, was exactly what terrorists do. The political figure’s target was also our armed forces. The same air force installations that were set on fire had previously shot down five enemy aircraft.
The Chief Minister further said that youth should never become fuel for chaos and discord, never speak against your homeland, never cause harm, never take steps against the motherland, and and be the iron wall of your country.
