Pakistan’s stall at the New York Travel and Adventure Show 2025 has once again won the prestigious Best Stall Award.
According to national media, Pakistan’s stall at the 2025 New York Travel and Adventure Show successfully secured the Best Stall Award, with the spotlight shining on the precious gemstones from Gilgit-Baltistan, which captivated the attention and interest of the attendees.
The stall was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Haji Gulbar Khan, who was joined by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, and Pakistan’s High Commissioner in New York, Amir Ahmed.
Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan expressed pride in the fact that Gilgit-Baltistan is now recognized as one of the world’s 25 best tourist destinations. The completion of Skardu International Airport and the development of a road network have created significant opportunities for tourism.
He further stated that Pakistan and Gilgit-Baltistan’s successful representation at the 2025 New York Travel and Adventure Show would undoubtedly elevate the region’s visibility on the global tourism map, strengthening its position as a world-class tourist destination.
This year, for the first time, special stalls showcasing Gilgit-Baltistan’s precious gemstones were featured, while eight renowned tour operators from the region also presented their services.
