The third and final season of the romantic drama ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty ‘has officially premiered on Amazon Prime Video today, July 16.
Based on the bestselling book trilogy by author Jenny Han, the coming-of-age series follows the emotional journey of Isabel “Belly” Conklin, played by Lola Tung, as she navigates the complexities of young love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.
At the heart of the story is a complicated love triangle between Belly and the Fisher brothers — Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). At the end of Season 2, Belly made the tough decision to move on from her past with Conrad and start fresh with Jeremiah. But in Season 3, things get more complicated when Conrad unexpectedly reappears in her life, stirring old feelings just as she thought she had moved on.
According to the show’s official synopsis, Belly’s summer plans take a dramatic turn as she stands at a major crossroads. Now on the edge of adulthood, she must make a life-changing choice about who truly holds her heart. Meanwhile, side characters like Taylor and Steven will also have their stories explored in greater depth this season.
