KARACHI: Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, who also oversees the transport ministry, has announced the launch of a new route for the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, he said the route, named No. R-4, will start from Power House Chorangi and will pass through several areas including Nagan chorangi, Shafiq Mor, Sohrab Goth, Shahra e Pakistan, Aisha Manzil, Laloo Khait, Teen Hati, Guru Mandir, Numaish, Civil Hospital, City court, Light House, Boltan Market, and Tower before concluding its journey.

This announcement comes just days after the Sindh government launched the second route of its Peoples Bus Service program in Karachi. The new route, named No. 2, is an electric bus service that starts from Baharia Town and ends at Malir Halt, passing through M9 Toll Plaza, Baqai University, Jinnah Avenue, Malir Cantt, and Tank Chowk among other areas.
