A new gas load shedding schedule has been issued for the summer season, under which gas will be supplied from 5 AM to 10 PM, as reported by national media.
According to a report on Tuesday, Sui Southern Gas Company has announced gas load shedding in Quetta during the summer season. The spokesperson stated that during the summer season, gas supply will remain suspended from 10 PM to 5 AM, and natural gas will be supplied between 5 AM and 10 PM.
The spokesperson said that load management will help maintain a stable and sustainable gas supply for all consumers in Quetta.
It is worth mentioning that Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited had announced a new schedule for gas supply and load shedding after Ramadan 2025 to ensure consistent gas pressure for consumers.
Having a consistent supply of gas during the summer is crucial for the public, especially for domestic use. Many households rely on gas for essential daily tasks such as cooking, heating water for showers and cleaning, and operating certain appliances.
