Netflix‘s Mask Girl has a bit of blood and crime that might not be suitable for all ages. Directed by Kim Yong-hoon, the series is about a woman named Kim Mo-mi who has suffered by being, in many other characters’ words, ugly.
Kim Mo-mi once dreamed of being a famous performer, but insecure about her looks, she becomes a dull office worker and a masked internet personality by the night.
She has a sizable fanbase, and everything goes smoothly untill a chain of unexpected, ill-fated events overtakes her life when an unrequited crush sets her off, she starts down a path of no return.
