What is the Southern Scandal about?
Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal tells the story of the Murdaugh family, their rise to power and sway with law enforcement, and details the suspicious deaths that have destroyed their family legacy.
The story involves the death of three different people -two of which are still unsolved, plus a faked assassination attempt, and a corrupt family with control and wealth over a small town that goes back for decades.
Number of episodes
The three-part series will feature interviews with some of those close to the multiple Murdaugh cases, some of whom are speaking for the first time, including Paul’s longtime girlfriend Morgan Doughty, Mallory’s childhood friends Miley Altman and Connor Cook and Mallory’s boyfriend Anthony Cook.
Where does the scandal take place?
The Murdaugh family and the crimes associated with them took place in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, in and around Hampton and Colleton counties.
When will the series be released?
The three-part docuseries will be available to stream on February 22.
