Abhishek Bachchan’s latest film “I Want To Talk” hit theaters on November 22, marking Shoojit Sircar’s return to the big screen.
The film centers around Arjun Sen, a marketing expert diagnosed with laryngeal cancer who undergoes multiple surgeries.
Arjun struggles to hide his illness from his daughter while trying to control every aspect of her life. The narrative explores the evolving father-daughter bond during difficult times.
Starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role alongside Johnny Lever and Ahilya Bamroo, the film is written by Shoojit Sircar and Ritesh Shah. The film has been a hot topic for months and is finally arriving in cinemas. After its theatrical run, I Want To Talk will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Although the movie’s theatrical run has just begun, Prime Video has acquired the digital rights, and the film will be available to stream shortly after its theatrical run. However, the exact OTT release date is yet to be confirmed.
As for its box office performance, “I Want To Talk” collected ₹25 lakh on its opening day, which is lower than Abhishek’s previous release, Ghoomer (2023), which earned ₹85 lakh on its first day ².
