ISLAMABAD: The management of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in the federal capital has ignored neutrality in appointing officials, it has been revealed.
According to details, instead of candidates who have passed the written test for recruitment, the management of BISP is favouring their own relatives.
Sources have revealed that half of the newly appointed officials are the relatives of the higher officials. Sources further said that candidates who have secured positions in such written examinations are not being called for interviews.
The illegal appointment has spread a sense of despair among the citizens and candidates. Tauqeer Sarwar Qureshi, a victim, has qualified for DD Technical and has secured first position in the written test. However, still, he was overlooked by the management.
The victim has informed that his interview was canceled several times and the management was not responding in this regard. Such candidates have appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chairman Sania Nishtar to take immediate notice of the irregularities in the department.
