SWAT: At least 18 people were injured on Friday evening when a shade collapsed at a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) rally in Swat.
According to details, several people had climbed onto the shade during Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan’s speeches at the rally. The shade collapsed due to the extra weight.
Rescue officials shifted the injured people to Civil Hospital. The paramedical staff has informed that the injured people were out of danger and several people have also been discharged.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Sehat Card Plus programme for the entire population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Addressing the public gathering, PM Imran said that the construction of motorways and expressways will change the fate of Swat.
