After expressing her frustration with Dhanush for denying her an NOC (No Objection Certificate) to use footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, Nayanthara has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan and shared a list of others as well.
According to a report by Indian media (Indian Express), the Bollywood actress Nayanthara shared a list of individuals who granted her the necessary permissions without hesitation. She accused Dhanush of making her wait for two years before refusing to grant her the NOC.
On Instagram, Nayanthara expressed her gratitude to several producers who approved her request, including Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, with whom she worked on Jawan. She also thanked industry figures from Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, such as K. Balachander, Udhayanidhi Stalin, A. R. Murugadoss, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and others, for their support in granting her the NOCs.

Nayanthara wrote, “Every film I have worked on is a significant part of my life, and many of them are especially close to my heart. I wanted to include these precious memories in my documentary, and I am deeply grateful to all those who helped me with their consent.”
She further added, “Thank you for sharing a slice of my most professional moments. Your support during such times moves me deeply, and I will always cherish it with immense gratitude.”
Nayanthara had previously shared her shock at Dhanush’s legal notice, where he demanded Rs. 10 crore in damages for using just a three-second clip from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the documentary trailer.
