ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Political Communication Shehbaz Gill has said PML-N leader should be tried for revealing national secrets.
He said the former prime minister has violated oath by revealing national secrets which can affect the integrity and security of the country. He said that Nawaz Sharif, who is currently absconding in London, should be tried for treason.
Speaking to media in London, Nawaz Sharif revealed national secrets and took credit for equipping the country with cruise missiles.
The PML-N leader claimed that Pakistan had built its cruise missiles by copying American missiles through reverse engineering and took credit for giving cruise missiles to the country.
Nawaz Sharif said the United States had fired cruise missiles in Afghanistan which landed in Balochistan. He revealed that Pakistan made cruise missiles by copying American missiles.
Security analyst Lt. General (retired) Amjad Shoaib said that the PML-N leader is leaking national secrets for personal interest.
