ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has once again refused to receive an arrest warrant.
The federal government in its report notified Additional Attorney General Tariq Khokhar of the Islamabad High Court that the former premier once again refused to accept the arrest warrant.
According to sources, a representative of the Pakistan High Commission visited the Avonfield Apartments in London again to execute the warrants but the person present there refused to receive the arrest warrant.
Justice Amir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court had said at the last hearing that we have started the process of ensuring the attendance of Nawaz Sharif. The federal government had removed the name of the former prime minister from the ECL, now he is responsible. It is the responsibility of the government to ensure the presence of the former Prime Minister.
