Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz secretariat in Model Town on Monday.
Nawaz will reportedly visit a new room built for him at the party secretariat. This is his first visit to the office in four years. He will also meet the long-tenured employees of the party secretariat.
He was also accompanied by his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, who is also the party’s chief organiser.
The PMLN chief is slowly getting active in politics since his return to Pakistan in October after nearly four years in exile.
He spent most of his exile in London where party members regularly flew to consult him on political matters.
Although it received much hype, the former PM has been relatively quiet since a public rally in Lahore on the day of his return.
However, reports have emerged that he could begin a series of public engagements soon and the party has begun the process of inviting applications for party tickets.
