KARACHI: Officers and employees of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) became frightened at the sight of police during a police raid against government officials responsible for the construction of the Nasla Tower.
Police raided the SBCA office on Wednesday and questioned the officers concerned about the case registered against the Nasla Tower.
Sources said that after registering a case against the government officials responsible for the construction of the Nasla Tower, a heavy contingent of police reached Sindh Building Control Authority again to arrest or track down the accused.
A case was registered in Ferozeabad police station on court orders in Nasla Tower case after which the investigating officers raided the SBCA office. When the investigating officers entered the SBCA building, they informed the police. Officers and employees became frightened at the sight.

Police led by SP Investigation East had reached the office of Sindh Building Control Authority. Sources said that the investigating authorities would determine the real culprits in the case registered in Ferozeabad.
Investigators are likely to question officials from other departments, including the master plan. Sources said that SP Investigation Altaf Hussain also got details from him during a meeting with Director SBCA Farhan Qaiser.
