Artemis-1 is set to travel to the Moon on a mission lasting four to six weeks. It will be the longest journey for astronauts by any spacecraft and will be done non-stop. The mission will also launch a number of small satellites called CubeSats for experiments in space.
Experts say that our first and foremost goal is to see a demonstration of Orion’s heat shield capability in a lunar space situation.
