ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team conducted an hour-and-a-half-long investigation into Imran Khan in the 190-million-pound case, and this investigation will continue for three days.
According to the details, a 4 member team of NAB reached Adiala Jail Rawalpindi to interrogate Imran Khan. Accountability Court Islamabad has issued a written order on NAB’s request for the physical remand of Imran Khan.
According to the 4-page order of Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir, the investigating officers of NAB have the authority to interrogate Imran Khan for 3 days in jail. NAB said that Imran Khan returned the looted money to the accused.
Judge Muhammad Bashir said in his order that in view of the notification of the Ministry of Law, the hearing of the 190 million pound corruption case was conducted in Adiala Jail. NAB alleged that Imran Khan took the land and money of the Al-Qadir Trust by giving money to the accused.
NAB further said that there was concrete evidence of corruption against Imran Khan. Imran Khan has taken a stand that he did not get any financial benefit. As per the report, proving money laundering could cost £100 million.
