ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution making it mandatory to write ‘Khatam-un-Nabiyeen’ (Finality of the Holy Prophet) along with Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W) name in official documents, books and wherever the holy name is used.
According to details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader and Minister of State Ali Muhammad Khan presented the resolution in the National Assembly.
During the speech in the National Assembly, Ali Muhammad Khan recited several verses of the Quran regarding the finality of Prophethood. However, he did not mention as to whom the move was aimed at.
After the National Assembly, it will be sent to the Senate and then the President of Pakistan will approve it to make it a law.
Ali Muhammad Khan took to Twitter and said, “I got a resolution unanimously passed in the National Assembly that makes it mandatory to write Khatimun Nabieen along with the name of Prophet (PBUH). The move was supported by the opposition as well as the minorities.”
