KARACHI: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Law Murtaza Wahab has lauded Engro Energy Limited for contributing Rs.50 million to the Corona Emergency Relief Fund of the Sindh government.
Murtaza Wahab took to Twitter and wrote, “My heartfelt appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the people and government of Sindh to the management of the Engro. Thank you.”

Moreover, recently, Dawood Hercules Corporation Chairman Hussain Dawood donated one billion rupees for relief efforts in combating the deadly COVID-19. The businessman welcomed the efforts of the government and other organisations who have stepped up to this challenge.
He hoped that the donation would set a precedent for other businessmen to come forth and donate to the government in the time of need.
Besides, Mere Pass Tum Ho actor Humayun Saeed had also donated Rs.500,000. The actor was quoted saying, “Together we can pull out the country from testing times.” He added, “Pakistani people have supported each other in difficult times and will show the same spirit this time.”
