KARACHI: The leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and former Senator Babar Ghauri is reported to have returned back to the United States after spending a few days in the Metropolis.
He had returned to Pakistan in the last week of January only after getting transitory protective bail from Sindh High Court in two terrorism and corruption cases.
Ghauri, who was also the federal minister for ports and shipping and a senator in the former PPP coalition government, has been facing cases in an anti-terrorism court on charges of money laundering and terrorism financing to the MQM-London and illegal appointments to the Karachi Port Trust.
