KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) has severely criticized Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imarn Khan for speaking against, what they called, ‘powerful quarters’ of the country.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, MQM leader and federal minister Aminul Haq, (whose party is coalition partner in the current federal government), questioned whether the Long March, taken out by PTI, was in country’s interest in any way, or would it improve the economy?
He accused Imran Khan of cross the Red Line at every occasion, adding that he [Imran Khan] didn’t honor a single commitment he made to the masses. He urged upon Imran Khan to step down of the container and try to know the ground realities.
He also criticized Imran-led coalition government and alleged that they didn’t honor the promises they made to their allies (including MQM).
Aminul Haq said under present circumstances, all political parties would have to sit together and talk, urging PTI to sit for negotiations with the government’s committee too. He appealed to the federal government to try to solve problems in greater sense of harmony and understanding.
