A 38-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after being struck by an unidentified car on the PIDC Bridge in Karachi, as reported by national media.
Police stated that the deceased was identified as 48-year-old Muhammad Rafiq. The police transferred the body to the hospital and initiated legal proceedings.
Last week, four motorcyclists lost their lives in Karachi due to collisions with speeding vehicles.
At Clifton Teen Talwar Chowk, a delivery boy riding a motorcycle died after being hit by a speeding double cabin vehicle. However, the driver of the double cabin, Usman Shah Rashdi, was arrested by the police and taken to Darakhshan Police Station.
According to DIG South Asad Raza, the delivery boy motorcyclist was identified as Murtaza, who died on the spot after the accident. The arrested driver, Usman Shah Rashdi, is the grandson of former DIG Pir Hassan Shah Rashdi.
